Provides emergency services to individuals and families who have become homeless due to natural disaster. Includes short-term shelter, clothing, food, and some limited assistance with replacement of basic household goods.

Emergency services to military families include assistance with communications when illness, death or births need to be reported, and loans for emergency travel. Anyone needing military emergency communications or military financial assistance should call 877-272-7337.

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing relief to victims of disaster, teaching people how to prevent and prepare for emergencies, and providing health information. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Serves the counties of Divide, Burke, Renville, Bottineau, Rolette, Williams, Mountrail, Ward, McHenry, Pierce, McKenzie, McLean, Sheridan, and Wells.
